We are an amateur football club based in Abuja, Nigeria. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in organized football and experience the physical and social benefits that come with the beautiful game.
Whereas most grassroots football clubs operate primarily as academies focused on professional development, at Abuja Metro FC, we prioritise creating a platform where people can participate in organised football at the amateur level. We understand that not everyone aspires to or will be a professional player, but many still share a passion for the sport. We therefore offer a welcoming environment for young people to develop their skills, learn values such as teamwork, and enjoy the competitive spirit of organized football, all while balancing other life pursuits such as education and work.
